Cut-your-own field selection is now limited.

December 3rd, 2010

Due to higher than expected demand our choose-and-cut selection is now limited.  There are still a few Frasers, White Pine, Spruce, and Scotch Pine remaining.  We still have a great selection of pre-cut trees available, though.

We Open On Nov. 20th!

November 15th, 2010

The 2010 season officially opens on Saturday 11-20!  After several years of below-average rainfall we finally received some wonderful rains this year.  As a result, the trees are looking beautiful!

Santa Claus will also be at the farm from 12pm-3pm on Saturday and Sunday of Thanksgiving weekend and the first weekend of December.

We will also have a Native American life re-enactor in our teepee on Saturday and Sunday of Thanksgiving weekend and the first weekend of December.  The teepee is in honor of the local Native Americans that once had a village and ceremonial mounds on our farm.

We look forward to seeing you this season!

The Tree Season is Near!

October 25th, 2010

The 2010 season officially opens on Saturday, November 20th.  After several years of below-average rainfall we finally received some wonderful rains this year.  As a result, the trees are looking beautiful!  We look forward to sharing another memorable season with you!

Pre-Tagging:  We also invite you to come to the farm and pre-select your family's Christmas tree.  We will still have plenty of trees after we officially open for the season, but many of our customers have enjoyed coming out in the fall to pre-tag their tree.  And it's easier to pick out your tree now versus waiting for the cold and snow!  We will have maps, instructions, tags, and ribbons in the "warming house" (small white building).  If we are not around feel free to help yourself and pick out a tree!

Pre-tag kickoff weekend!

September 11th, 2010

Our annual Pre-Tag Kickoff Weekend will be on October 9th and 10th (Saturday and Sunday) from 12pm-5pm.  We invite you to come to the farm and pre-select your family's Christmas tree.  We will still have plenty of trees after we officially open for the season, but many of our customers have enjoyed coming out in the fall for a nature walk, wagon ride, and getting the best selection of trees in the field.  And it's easier to pick out your tree now versus waiting for the cold and snow!  If you can't make it to the farm during kickoff weekend, feel free to come by any day afterwards.  We will have maps, instructions, tags, and ribbons in the "warming house" (small white building).  If we are not around feel free to help yourself and pick out a tree!

Still looking for a tree?

December 21st, 2009

Yes, we still have several trees remaining!  We will have trees available right up through Christmas day.  Feel free to contact us if you have any specific requests or questions.  Happy holidays to everyone and thanks for another great year at Krueger's Christmas Trees!

Full Selection of Fresh Trees

December 2nd, 2009

We have a full selection of fresh-cut trees available in all species and sizes.  However, please note that our choose-and-cut fields are now closed for the 2009 season.  We invite you to come to the farm for a wagon ride, nature walk, visit with Santa, and have hot cider by the bonfire before picking out your tree. Each year we tag a limited amount of trees in our fields.

This year, demand for these trees has outpaced our supply.  The lack of rainfall over the past few summers has slowed the growth of our trees.  We will have more choose-and-cut next year in addition to our wide selection of fresh-cut trees.  More information can be found in the Christmas Trees section of this site.

The 2009 Season Begins!

November 26th, 2009

We are now fully stocked in the tree lot and fields and open for business.  The trees are really looking great this year.  The recent rainy weather has also been excellent for the trees.

Just a reminder, Santa Claus will be visiting the farm from 12pm-3pm on December 5-6 (Sat & Sun).

We hope to see you at the farm soon!
